Rahul Johri is the Chairman of Bargach Finance. He provides guidance on strategic items involving regulators, media and investors. Rahul has previously done senior leadership roles at Bandhan Bank, DBS Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and ANZ Grindlays Bank in his career of 3 decade. He holds a B.Tech (Honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering from I.I.T Kharagpur and MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur.
Prasanta Kumar Sahu, Director
Prasanta is on the Board of Directors of Bargach Finance. He has a rich experience of 2 decade in Microfinance and related businesses. Prasanta was instrumental in the setting up of the Micro-finance business at Axis Bank and has worked with DFIs such as SIDBI. Prasanta completed his MBA from XIM, Bhubaneswar
Ashish Bhugra

Ashish is an International Banker with strong and diversified experience of 3 decade in multinational banks like Citigroup & ANZ Banking group. He has held leadership roles in Citibank as the Country Business Manager for the Consumer franchise in Bahrain & Egypt. He was also the Regional Director of ANZ Banks Pacific Retail banking group comprising 11 countries. Ashish has fostered a reputation as being a specialist in turning around financially struggling businesses. In 2007 Ashish was the Chairman of the Retail Banking committee in the Bahrain Association of Banks. In 2016-2017 he served as an Executive Director on the Board of Banque Privée de Fleury Limited, a company in which he also served as it’s CEO. Ashish is a double MBA holder from Birla Institute of Technology & Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata.

Dhiraj has worked with ICICI Bank and Edelweiss at senior positions before co-founding VT Capital in 2011. He is a graduate from St. Zavier college Kolkata. He is a rand holder in both CA and CS. He has also cleared CFA level 2.
Sumit Hans

Sumit is the Chief Operating Officer of Bargach Finance Private Limited. He has a rich experience of 2 decade in the Rural and Retail Lending business. Sumit was instrumental in the setting up of the Farm Loan (KCC) business at Bandhan Bank. He has also worked with HDFC Bank and YES Bank and has experience in scaling businesses, driving growth, operational strategies and delivering significant top and bottom-line impact.
Subash Chandra Karmakar
Cluster Head - West Bengal
Subash is the Cluster Head for the state of West Bengal. He is responsible for the operations of the branches in the state. He has rich experience in the microfinance industry of 16+ years and has worked with Bandhan Bank (erstwhile Bandhan MFI) and the Bandhan Bank Training Division’s Head Office in Kolkata. Leading “Bandhan School of Development & Management” including 7 Learning Centers in his previous assignment, he also did a role with Bandhan Bank where he was leading the operations for 235 microfinance branches.

An accomplished banker, with over 26 years of experience with Standard Chartered Bank and ANZ Grindlays Bank in Mumbai, Kolkata & Chennai, having multi-faceted credentials, with extended stints in diverse areas such as Technology, Credit Cards and Fraud & Risk Management. Zonal Fraud Risk Manager (West) with Standard Chartered, based at Kolkata & Mumbai. Thereafter worked with SENCO Gold Pvt ltd. as Head Project Manager for over 100 showrooms. Currently working with Bargach Finance Pvt India as Audit & Operations Risk Head.
Shubhom Chatterjee
Manager - Administration & MIS
Shubhom co-ordinates key activities to support the day-to-day operations of the branches. He has prior experience in business support and operational roles, process improvement and project management. He has previously been a key member in Bharti Airtel Enterprise Services, Tata Docomo, Kolkata region and was a Support Associate at RR Donnelley, a Fortune 500 company in Chennai prior to joining Bargach Finance.
